Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Provides that for the purchase of any goods where a value-added reseller is used, the manufacturer of the goods must attest that every value-added reseller has the same discount or price from the manufacturer in order for the bid to be compliant. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 55-30 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (30 ILCS 500/55-30 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 55-30. Value-added reseller. For the purchase of any |
| 8 | | goods where a value-added reseller is used, the manufacturer |
| 9 | | of the goods must attest that every value-added reseller has |
| 10 | | the same discount or price from the manufacturer in order for |
| 11 | | the bid to be compliant.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 | | becoming law.
