1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3751

2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3751, AS AMENDED,

3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment

4 No. 1, on page 2, immediately below line 5, by inserting the

5 following:

6 "The rejection of an applicant due to the applicant's

7 failure to be authorized under federal law to obtain, carry,

8 or purchase or otherwise possess a firearm as a result of the

9 applicant's immigration status does not constitute a violation

10 of the Illinois Human Rights Act."; and

11 on page 3, line 9, by replacing "firearm" with "firearm;

12 however, rejection of an applicant due to the applicant's

13 failure to be authorized under federal law to obtain, carry,

14 or purchase or otherwise possess a firearm as a result of the

15 applicant's immigration status does not constitute a violation

16 of the Illinois Human Rights Act"; and
