Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Revenue shall not require a taxpayer, whether an individual, not-for-profit, or business entity, to collect and furnish to the Department individual tax identification information from vendors that participate in an event hosted or sponsored by the taxpayer. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the

| 6 | | 2505-810 as follows: |

| 8 | | Sec. 2505-810. Collection of individualized tax |
| 9 | | identification data. The Department shall not require a |
