Provides that subject to federal approval, beginning January 1, 2025, and each year thereafter, the monthly personal needs allowance for a nursing facility resident who is determined to be eligible for medical assistance shall increase by an amount equal to the percentage increase, if any, in the consumer price index-u during the preceding 12-month calendar year. Provides that subject to federal approval, beginning January 1, 2025, for a supportive living facility resident who is determined eligible for medical assistance, in addition to the minimum monthly personal needs allowance authorized under the Social Security Act, the State shall pay an amount that is equal to the percentage increase, if any, in the consumer price index-u during the preceding 12-month calendar year.
