<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>215 ILCS 5/356z.3a</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. In a provision concerning billing for services provided by nonparticipating providers or facilities, provides that when calculating an enrollee's contribution to the annual limitation on cost sharing set forth under specified federal law, a health insurance issuer or its subcontractors shall include expenditures for any item or health care service covered under the policy issued to the enrollee by the health insurance issuer or its subcontractors if that item or health care service is included within a category of essential health benefits and regardless of whether the health insurance issuer or its subcontractors classify that item or service as an essential health benefit. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
