Sets forth provisions that shall apply if the Illinois Gaming Board becomes authorized to issue licenses to conduct Internet gaming. Provides that before the issuance or renewal of an Internet gaming license, Internet management service provider license, or supplier license, the Illinois Gaming Board shall conduct a comprehensive investigation of each applicant for a license to determine whether the applicant or any of its affiliates, including entities under common control, is knowingly accepting revenue, directly or indirectly, derived from any jurisdiction subject to sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States Department of the Treasury or accepting or assisting, directly or indirectly, in the acceptance of online wagers or consideration related to online wagering from any country in which such online gambling is prohibited or illegal. Provides that the Board shall not issue a license to an applicant if the Board determines that the applicant or any of its affiliates is in violation of specified provisions. Provides that if at any time during licensure the Board determines that the licensee or any of its affiliates is in violation of specified provisions, the Board shall impose discipline on the licensee, which may include revocation of the license. 3/29/2023SenateFiled with Secretary by Sen.
