<reference>20 ILCS 2310/2310-50.15 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall require health care facilities and health care professionals to conform to specified requirements regarding patient care during a public health emergency. Requires the Department to adopt rules necessary to effectuate the provisions. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Floor Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>

Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall develop and implement a crisis standards of care plan as an annex to the Department of Public Health's Essential Support Function (ESF-8) Plan for Public Health and Medical Services, to assist health care facilities and provide support in situations in which local medical resources are overwhelmed, including, but not limited to, public health emergencies. Sets forth requirements for the Department in developing a crisis standards of care plan. Sets forth requirements for representation within the multi-disciplinary planning committee. Identifies the persons to whom the Department shall disseminate the crisis standards of care plan. Provides rulemaking authority to the Department. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
