Provides that an establishment or facility may comply with the provisions by posting the required information on the website of its parent company if the establishment does not maintain a unique website and is not required to comply with the provisions if the establishment or facility and any parent company do not maintain a website. Contains other provisions. Effective January 1, 2024.House Floor Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. In the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act, the Life Care Facilities Act, the Nursing Home Care Act, the MC/DD Act, and the ID/DD Community Care Act, removes provisions requiring that establishments or facilities licensed under the Acts post on the home page of the licensed establishment's or facility's website the following statement: "The Illinois Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is a free resident advocacy service available to the public.". Provides that an establishment or a facility is not required to comply with the requirement to post the required information in instances where the parent company operates in multiple states and the establishment or facility does not maintain a unique website.
