Provides that the City of Chicago shall (instead of "may") enact an ordinance providing for a noise monitoring system upon any portion of the roadway known as Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Requires that the installation of the noise monitoring system shall be completed within 6 months after the effective date of the amendatory Act. Requires that, 12 months after the effective date of the amendatory Act, and any time after the first report as the City deems necessary, the City of Chicago shall prepare a noise monitoring report with the data collected from the system and, upon request, shall make the report available to the public.
