| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Richard G. Austin of Aurora, who |
| 4 | | passed away on December 4, 2022; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Austin was born in Springfield to Otis |
| 6 | | and Lora Austin; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Richard Austin was preceded in death by his |
| 8 | | parents and his sister, Sandra A. Minicher; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Richard Austin is survived by his wife, Susan C. |
| 10 | | Austin; his daughters, T. Beth (Tim) Britt, Tatiana K. Austin, |
| 11 | | and Laurie A. (Mike) Barkdoll; his grandchildren, Jake (Katie) |
| 12 | | Thelen, Rachel Thelen, Tyler (Christina) Barkdoll, and Zach |
| 13 | | Barkdoll; his nieces, Lee Ann Gathard and Bailee Woods; and |
| 14 | | four great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
