| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of James "Jim" Doud of Silvis, who passed |
| 4 | | away on August 15, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Doud was born to William "Bill" and Mary |
| 6 | | (Strachan) Doud in Aledo on October 11, 1939; he was a graduate |
| 7 | | of United Township High School and served in the U.S. Air |
| 8 | | Force; he married Mary Jo Danielson at St. Mary's Catholic |
| 9 | | Church of East Moline on June 10, 1967, and she passed away on |
| 10 | | October 7, 2021; they shared most of their lives together in |
| 11 | | Colona, raising their family and enjoying their grandchildren; |
| 12 | | and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Jim Doud retired from Johnson Sheet Metal in 2000 |
| 14 | | after many years of service; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jim Doud was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 16 | | his wife; his siblings, Mary Louise Sloan, John Doud, and Paul |
| 17 | | Doud; and his brother-in-law, Robert Wolfe; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Jim Doud is survived by his daughters, Kelli |
| 19 | | (Fred) Cernetisch and Traci (Jeff) Hasson; his grandchildren, |
| 20 | | Owen, Joci, Jarett, Karoline, and Kenzi; and his sister, Alice |
