SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Zachary Edward "Zach" Causey of 
4Smithton, formerly of New Athens, who passed away on April 23, 
52022; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Zach Causey was born in Belleville to Mark Edward 
7and Patricia Ann (Gillis) Causey on  September 22, 1990; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Zach Causey was an electrical control specialist 
9at Granite City Steel in Granite City; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Zach Causey loved wood turning, gardening, 
11astrology, star gazing, and camping with his family; he 
12experimented with making  wine and was very adept at 
13intricately detailed arts and crafts; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Zach Causey is survived by his parents; his 
15children, Felicity Rose, Daniel Edward, and Lilly May Causey; 
16his brother, Seth John Henry Causey (Danielle Qualls); his 
17sister, Emily Elizabeth Causey (Chance Deitrich); his 
18grandmother, "Mee-maw" Janice Causey; and by his aunts, 
19uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Zachary Edward "Zach" Causey and extend our sincere 
3condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
4him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Zach Causey as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
