SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Thomas "Tom" Allan Bowman of Colona, 
4who passed away on January 31, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tom Bowman as born to William and Alice (DaPron) 
6Bowman in Mason City on April 12, 1940; he served in the U.S. 
7Navy; he married Nancy Lievens in Hannibal, Missouri on March 
827, 1966; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Tom Bowman retired from the former International 
10Harvester Works, East Moline; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Tom Bowman was preceded in death by his parents; 
12his sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Harris and Patricia Brown; and his 
13brother-in-law, Duane Kraklow; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Tom Bowman is survived by his wife, Nancy; his 
15children, Janna Churchill, Colette (Jeff) Breault, James 
16(Lisa) Bowman,  Greg (Kim) Bowman, Doug (Kelli) Bowman, and 
17Misty (John) Dowdal; his many grandchildren and 
18great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Kraklow; therefore, 
19be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Thomas "Tom" Allan Bowman and extend our sincere condolences 
3to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Tom Bowman as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
