| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Robert T. "Rob" Cassens, DMD of |
| 4 | | Auburn, who passed away on December 20, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rob Cassens was born in Mattoon to Bruce W. and |
| 6 | | Sharon A. (Hull) Cassens on August 24, 1969; he served his |
| 7 | | country in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and married |
| 8 | | Elizabeth "Betsy" Stayton in Jacksonville on June 20, 1992; |
| 9 | | and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Rob Cassens practiced dentistry and owned his own |
| 11 | | practice since 1995; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Rob Cassens was an active member of the West Side |
| 13 | | Christian Church; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Rob Cassens was preceded in death by his |
| 15 | | grandparents; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Rob Cassens is survived by his wife, Betsy; his |
| 17 | | parents; his daughters, Isabella and Lydia Cassens; his son, |
| 18 | | Jonah Cassens; his brother, Ryan (Jennifer) Cassens; his |
| 19 | | sister, Whitney (Jason) Mehaffy; and several aunts, uncles, |
| 20 | | nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
