| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Esther |
| 4 | | Isabelle Brazier, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age |
| 5 | | of 92; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was born in Indianapolis, |
| 7 | | Indiana on March 24, 1929; she married Bishop Arthur M. |
| 8 | | Brazier, and he preceded her in death; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was deeply committed to the |
| 10 | | Apostolic Church of God (ACOG) alongside her husband, Bishop |
| 11 | | Brazier; she played a vital role in many ministries of the |
| 12 | | church, including the ACOG choirs and the youth orchestra, all |
| 13 | | while raising her family and supporting her husband; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier will be remembered for being a |
| 15 | | devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and |
| 16 | | great-grandmother, a caring friend, and a dedicated leader; |
| 17 | | and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was the wife of Bishop Arthur M. |
| 19 | | Brazier and the mother of Lola LaFayette, Janice Dortch, |
| 20 | | Rosalyn Shepherd, and Dr. Byron T. Brazier; therefore, be it
