HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Arlington 
4Heights Chamber of Commerce on the occasion of its 75th 
5anniversary; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce was 
7founded in 1947; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce 
9supports over 500 diverse members ranging from the Village of 
10Arlington Heights' largest organizations to one-person 
11businesses; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce is 
13committed to helping local businesses succeed and to serving 
14as a strong community partner to the Village of Arlington 
15Heights; and
 
16    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce is 
17known for being one of the most active chambers in the region; 
18and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce offers 
20networking and relationship-building opportunities,

1professional development and education, and marketing and 
2advocacy support to its members; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce is an 
4invaluable resource to the small business community in the 
5area; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
7HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we congratulate the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce on 
9its 75th anniversary and wish them many more successful years; 
10and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce as a 
13symbol of our esteem and respect.
