HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Jewish Children and 
4Families Services (JCFS) on the opening of its newest 
5facility, the Seigle Campus, in Skokie; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Through the Seigle Campus, JCFS provides a 
7variety of services, including counseling, career services, 
8and immigration support; the campus includes the Seigle 
9Building and the renovated Goldie Bachman Luftig Building; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Seigle Building is the new home of the 
11Response for Teens program, which supports young people and 
12their families by providing leadership development, 
13counseling, and inclusive, comprehensive sexual health 
14education; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Goldie Bachman Luftig Building, through its 
16renovations and an expanded level of support, will now be able 
17to provide counseling, career services, immigration and 
18citizenship, and other community supports to hundreds of 
19immigrants and refugees; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
21HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate the Jewish Children and Families Services on 
2the opening of the Seigle Campus in Skokie, and we wish the 
3organization continued success; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
5presented to philanthropist Harry J. Seigle of the Jewish 
6United Fund/Jewish Federation Board, President Lonnie Nasatir 
7of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation, and President and 
8Chief Executive Officer Stacey Shor of the Jewish Children and 
9Family Services as an expression of our esteem and respect.
