HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Schaumburg Business 
4Association on the occasion of its 20th anniversary; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, The Schaumburg Business Association was formed in 
62001; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Schaumburg Business Association's mission is 
8to create unique opportunities and foster alliances for 
9organizations doing business in Schaumburg, thereby enhancing 
10the business environment and the quality of life in the 
11community; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The Schaumburg Business Association's vision is 
13to improve the quality of life and economic vitality of the 
14Schaumburg area, to connect members to each other and the 
15community, and to serve as the primary advocate for 
16businesses; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The Schaumburg Business Association is also 
18committed to influencing business growth and connection in the 
19region; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, The Schaumburg Business Association represents

1more than 700 businesses and consists of over 4,000 active 
2members; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate the Schaumburg Business Association on its 
620th anniversary; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That we recognize the Schaumburg Business 
8Association's contributions toward enhancing the quality of 
9life in the Schaumburg area and encouraging all residents to 
10support local businesses within the community; and be it 
11further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the Schaumburg Business Association as an 
14expression of our esteem and respect.
