HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Chicago Canine Rescue and 
4its dedicated staff on the occasion of their 20th anniversary; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Chicago Canine Rescue opened its doors in 2001 to 
7shelter vulnerable dogs with special needs and those 
8considered too young, too old, too sick, or otherwise 
9overlooked; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, While others may have given up on them, Chicago 
11Canine Rescue gives these dogs a second chance at life; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Over 6,000 dogs have been able to find a 
13permanent, loving home since Chicago Canine Rescue was 
14founded; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Volunteers help serve as the backbone of Chicago 
16Canine Rescue, assisting with dog walking; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The staff and volunteers of Chicago Canine Rescue 
18tirelessly deliver warmth and care  every day for the rescued 
19dogs and are willing to help even the most vulnerable that come 
20through the door; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Chicago Canine Rescue  on its 20th anniversary, 
4thank its dedicated staff for their work in the community, and 
5wish the organization many more successful years; and be it

7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Chicago Canine Rescue as a symbol of our esteem 
9and respect.
