Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that any individual authorized by law to possess a concealed firearm shall be exempt from the provisions of the Code prohibiting possession of those firearms during bow and arrow season.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 3.4b as follows: |
| 6 | | (520 ILCS 5/3.4b) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3.4b. Concealed firearm exemption. A current or |
| 8 | | retired law enforcement officer authorized by law to possess a |
| 9 | | concealed firearm shall be exempt from the provisions of this |
| 10 | | Code prohibiting possession of those firearms. Any individual |
| 11 | | authorized by law to possess a concealed firearm shall be |
| 12 | | exempt from the provisions of this Code prohibiting possession |
| 13 | | of those firearms during bow and arrow season. However, |
| 14 | | nothing in this Section authorizes the use of those firearms |
| 15 | | except as authorized by law.
