Adds language governing fees, bonding, and oversight of official portable emissions testing companies. Makes corresponding changes.Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Adds reference to:625 ILCS 5/13-102.1Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the contents of the introduced bill and makes the following changes: Requires the Department of Transportation to include in its diesel powered vehicle emission inspection report the number of inspections conducted at a brick-and-mortar official testing station and the number of inspections conducted by an official portable emissions testing company. Removes language allowing a permittee to issue certificates of safety. Allows a permittee to conduct interstate inspections on interstate carriers in accordance with federal regulations.
