<reference>105 ILCS 5/10-1</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 10-1</aliasreference><reference>110 ILCS 805/3-7.24</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 103-7.24</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the School Code. Provides that each board of school directors shall appoint one nonvoting member who is a teacher employed by the school district under the jurisdiction of the board. Provides that the teacher member shall have the privilege of casting advisory votes and shall have all of the privileges of membership, including the right to make and second motions and to attend executive sessions, other than the right to vote. Amends the Public Community College Act. Provides that each board of trustees shall have one nonvoting member who is a faculty member employed by the community college district under the jurisdiction of the board. Provides that the faculty member shall have the privilege of casting advisory votes and shall have all of the privileges of membership, including the right to make and second motions and to attend executive sessions, other than the right to vote.
