<reference>55 ILCS 5/3-1006</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 34, par. 3-1006</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Counties Code. In provisions regarding additional duties of county auditors in counties of 200,000 population or less (currently, 275,000 population or less), provides that the following duties are permissive rather than mandatory: being the general accountant of the county and keeping its general accounts; and devising and installing a system of financial records in the offices and divisions of the county. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
