Provides that, when the neighboring district that is to be the receiving unit is made aware of the district that is no longer providing services, the neighboring district is to assume all powers, duties, assets, territory, levies, and property as soon as practicable. Effective immediately.Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Fire Protection District Act. Provides that the Rockland Fire Protection District shall be dissolved into the Libertyville Fire Protection District.
