<reference>735 ILCS 5/13-213</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 110, par. 13-213</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Limitations Article of the Code of Civil Procedure. Extends the statute of repose for a product liability action based on the doctrine of strict liability in tort for any medical joint replacement product that is claimed to have injured or damaged the plaintiff to 15 years from the date of first installation (instead of 12 years from the date of first sale in any case or 10 years from the date of first sale to its initial user, whichever is shorter).</SynopsisText></synopsis>
