<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>20 ILCS 2505/2505-760 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>230 ILCS 10/5.4 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Director of Revenue shall establish a policy to allow a Department of Revenue investigator who has as his or her duties as an investigator the powers of a peace officer and who is honorably retiring or separating in good standing to purchase either one or both of the following: (1) any Department of Revenue badge previously issued to that investigator; or (2) if the investigator has a currently valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card, the service firearm issued or previously issued to the investigator by the Department of Revenue. Provides that the cost of the firearm purchased shall be the replacement value of the firearm and not the firearm's fair market value. Amends the Illinois Gambling Act. Provides that the Administrator of the Illinois Gaming Board shall establish a policy to allow a Board investigator or other employee who has as his or her duties as an investigator or employee the powers of a peace officer and who is honorably retiring or separating in good standing to purchase either one or both of the following: (i) any Illinois Gaming Board badge previously issued to that investigator or employee; or (ii) if the investigator or employee has a currently valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card, the service firearm issued or previously issued to the investigator or employee by the Illinois Gaming Board.
