<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Creates the Brownfields Investigation and Cleanup Grants Act. Creates the Brownfields Investigation and Cleanup Grants Program to award competitive grants and loans for assessment and cleanup of brownfield sites to promote their redevelopment and reuse and to create jobs at the brownfield sites. Provides that the Program shall be staffed and supervised by the Environmental Protection Agency. Requires the Agency to adopt rules to govern the operation of the Program. Provides that the Program shall be funded using moneys appropriated by the United States federal government to Illinois for economic development related to COVID-19 relief. Contains other provisions.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
