| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Ronald C. "Ron" Anderson of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on August 3, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ron Anderson was born in Davenport, Iowa to |
| 6 | | Clarence and Elsie (Sheppstedt) Anderson on December 15, 1944; |
| 7 | | he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and married |
| 8 | | Janet Malmstrom in Moline on May 10, 1998; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ron Anderson was a member of Bethany Baptist |
| 10 | | Church, where he served in many different positions; he enjoyed |
| 11 | | photography, motorcycle trips, hunting, fishing, and golf; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Ron Anderson is survived by his wife, Janet; his |
| 13 | | children, Lisa (Jeremy) Strawn and Andy (Kim) Laird; his |
| 14 | | grandchildren, Juliana, Mackenzie, and Cody; and his fellow car |
| 15 | | enthusiast, Jacob Kammler; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Ron Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 19 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
