SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ronald M. "Ronnie" Larsen, who passed 
4away on December 24, 2019; and
  
 
  
5    WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen believed every day should be like 
6Christmas, filled with family, kindness, and love; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen was preceded in death by his son, 
8David Michael Larsen; his great-grandson, Gabriel Biggs; his 
9father, Nicklas Larsen; his sisters, Wendell and Kathleen 
10Larsen; his mother, Dorothy Welch; his stepfather, Frank Welch; 
11his sister, Lois Vucitech; and his brother, Bob Welch; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen is survived by his wife of 65 years, 
13Doris "Toots" Larsen; his  children, Jeanmarie Dunne, Ron Jr. 
14"Moose" (Brenda) Larsen, and Kaye-Kaye (Sam) Larsen Olloway; 
15his grandchildren, Megan Nicole "Nicci" Dunne, Amber Biggs, and 
16Jacob Larsen; his great-grandchildren, Jalen Black and Ezekiel 
17Biggs; his  brothers, Frank "Junior" Welch Jr. and Robert 
18"Butch" Larsen; his  sisters, Jeanine Frank and Barbara Bubon; 
19numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his fur-babies, Walter 
20and Scarlett; and his fur-babies at Fat Cat Rescue; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Ronald M. "Ronnie" Larsen and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Ronnie Larsen as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
