| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Johnny D. Wilson of Clay City, who passed |
| 4 | | away on March 19, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Wilson was born in 1935; Johnny married |
| 6 | | Betty L. (Douglas) Newby in Bluford on May 31, 1957; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Wilson was preceded in death by his parents |
| 8 | | and one brother; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Wilson is survived by his wife; his sons, |
| 10 | | Maurice, William II, Herbert, Johnny Jr., Michael, and Mark |
| 11 | | Newby; his 14 grandchildren; his 12 great-grandchildren; his |
| 12 | | sister, Frances; and his brothers, Frank and James; therefore, |
| 13 | | be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Johnny D. Wilson and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
