SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Eugene M. Backys of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on May 1, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Eugene Backys was born in Waukegan to Jerome and 
6Frances (Grobelch) Backys on April 5, 1948; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Eugene Backys was a lifelong resident of Waukegan; 
8and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Eugene Backys was preceded in death by his 
10parents; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Eugene Backys is survived by his wife of 48 years, 
12Lorraine (Madura) Backys; his brother, Donald J. (Ann) Backys; 
13his many nieces and nephews; and his extended family and 
14friends; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Eugene M. Backys and extend our sincere condolences to his 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
