<reference>50 ILCS 705/7</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 85, par. 507</aliasreference><reference>50 ILCS 705/10.17</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Police Training Act. Provides that the in-service training requirements for mental health awareness and response shall consist of at least 16 hours of training that must be satisfactorily completed every 3 years. Provides that the crisis intervention training addressing specialized policing responses to people with mental illnesses shall consist of at least 16 hours of training.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
