Mazzochi 1/13/2021HouseSession Sine Die 20 ILCS 2310/2310-312.5 new Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall adopt rules to incentivize health care facilities to properly clean and disinfect their facilities. Provides that the Department shall monetarily reward health care facilities that do not have any incidents of infection or communicable disease, including, but not limited to, Staphylococcal infections and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
