SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Bonnie L. Powles of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on October 3, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles was born in Chicago to Marie and 
6Kenneth Young on September 18, 1941; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles was a dedicated fan of the Chicago 
8Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks; she loved her precious 
9cats, Teeny-weenie, Patches, and Jilly; and
  
 

  
10    WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles is survived by her son, Donald 
11Powles (Kathy); her daughter, Pamela Marsh (Russ); her 
12grandchildren, Crystal and Britney Marsh and Joey, Billy, and 
13Tyler Powles; her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Eltan, Layla, 
14Evelyn, Zola, and Leo; and many other relatives and friends; 
15therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Bonnie L. Powles and extend our sincere condolences to her  
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
