| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Albert D. "Albie" DeFauw of East Moline |
| 4 | | who passed away on November 16, 2018; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Albert DeFauw was born in Moline to Rose DeFauw |
| 6 | | Kindhart on April 10, 1935; he served in the Naval Reserves; he |
| 7 | | married Elaine M. Marlier in Moline on April 20, 1956; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Albert DeFauw worked as an electrician with ALCOA |
| 9 | | and retired in 1994; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Albert DeFauw was known as a handyman who could |
| 11 | | fix just about anything, and he was always lending his time to |
| 12 | | help others; he and his wife enjoyed traveling; he was a member |
| 13 | | of the Geneseo Country Club and an avid golfer with a |
| 14 | | hole-in-one to his name; he was a bowler who, at the age of 78, |
| 15 | | bowled a 300 game; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and |
| 16 | | the Chicago Bears; he enjoyed attending his grandchildren's |
| 17 | | activities; and

| 18 | | WHEREAS, Albert DeFauw is survived by his wife, Elaine; his |
| 19 | | daughter, Arlyce (James) Logan; his sons, Dan (Nikki) DeFauw |
| 20 | | and David DeFauw; his grandchildren, Alecia (Ryan) Burns, Lance |
| 21 | | Logan, Mitchell (Nicole) DeFauw, Kyle DeFauw, Jared DeFauw, and |
