SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Howard A. Donohue of Wadsworth, formerly 
4of Waukegan, who passed away on October 18, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was born in Waukegan to John and 
6Helen (Pias) Donohue; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was employed at Abbott 
8Laboratories for over 33 years; and
  
  
9    WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was a longtime parishioner of the 
10Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan and was currently a 
11parishioner of the Church of St. Patrick in Wadsworth; he was a 
12member of the Warren Township Senior Center and the Abbott 
13Retirees Club; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was preceded in death by his 
15parents; his brothers, Robert, John L., Michael, and David; and 
16his sisters, Patricia, Geraldine, and Janet; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Howard Donohue is survived by his wife of 53 
18years, Therese; his daughter, Therese Elizabeth (David) 
19Wiatrowski; his siblings, Thomas (Jan) Donohue, Mary Lee 
20(Edward) Singer, Rosalie (Ronald) Henry, and Sharon (John)

1McFarland; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Howard A. Donohue and extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Howard Donohue as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
