SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas C. Russell of Elmhurst, formerly 
4of Joliet, who passed away at the age of 84; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Russell graduated from Joliet Catholic 
6High School in 1952; he graduated from the University of Notre 
7Dame in 1956; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was a veteran of the United States 
9Air Force; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was a member of the Knights of 
11Columbus, Fr. McDonald Council; he was a lifelong fan of the 
12Chicago White Sox; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was the beloved husband of Grace R. 
14(McGowan) Russell, the loving father of Margaret L. Odell, 
15Thomas M. (Deborah) Russell, Katherine T. (Mark) Chapman, and 
16Matthew J. Russell, the proud grandfather of Riley and Mitchell 
17Russell and Allison Odell, and the fond uncle of many nieces 
18and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Thomas C. Russell and extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
