SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jack Edward Kincaid of Moline, who passed 
4away on October 7, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was born in Carbon Cliff to Homer 
6Franklin and Thelma Frary Kincaid on November 27, 1932; he 
7served in the U.S. Navy for four years and married Sandra 
8Wadsager in Silvis on July 11, 1959; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was a national customer service 
10executive for IBM, retiring in 1991 after 33 years with the 
11company; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid enjoyed playing tennis, golf, 
13hiking, bicycling, and boat racing; above all else, he enjoyed 
14traveling and spending time with his family; he was an 
15especially proud grandpa; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was preceded in death by his parents 
17and  his brother and sister-in-law, William G. and Pat Kincaid, 
18and their son, Craig; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid is survived by his wife of 59 years, 
20Sandy; his son, John E. (Mary Gieselman) Kincaid; his daughter,

1Susan J. (Mark) Dyer; his grandchildren, Alex Kincaid, Sarah 
2Dyer, Eric Dyer, and Amy Ball; his siblings, Judy (Bill) 
3Carmichael and Jim (Diane) Kincaid; his nephew, Brian Kincaid; 
4and numerous in-laws and their families; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Jack Edward Kincaid and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Jack Kincaid as an expression of our 
12deepest sympathy.
