| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of James S. "Jim" Clark of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on September 23, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Clark was born in Madrid, Missouri to Steven |
| 6 | | and Ludie (Burris) Clark on August 29, 1942; he served in the |
| 7 | | United States Army during the Korean Conflict; he married Paula |
| 8 | | McLean at the First Christian Church in East Moline on May 17, |
| 9 | | 2007; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jim Clark retired from International Harvester, |
| 11 | | where he was an Inspector; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jim Clark was an election judge; he enjoyed |
| 13 | | raising race horses and talking politics; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jim Clark is survived by his wife, Paula; his |
| 15 | | children, Steve (Della) Clark and June (Daryl) Heidbreder; his |
| 16 | | four grandchildren; his great-grandchild; and his siblings, |
| 17 | | Cathy and Ron; as well as Paula's family; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
