SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jehangir
"John" Mobed on January 10, 2018 
4at the age of 92; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Mobed was born on February 19, 1926; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, John Mobed volunteered at the West Suburban 
7Hospital and at the Oak Park Township,
where he helped seniors 
8with their taxes; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Mobed was a member of both the Toastmasters 
10and the Belles Lettres
organizations; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, John Mobed was the husband of Olive (Walton); the 
12father of Parvine (Mark)
MacDonald, Jim (Henrike) Mobed, and 
13Sue (Dan) Arends; the grandfather of Katelyn, Kristen,
and 
14David MacDonald, Edan and Claire Mobed, and DJ, Taylor, and 
15John Arends; the brother of
Banoo (Shahbaram) Shahzadi, Kai 
16(Parvin) Mobed, and the late Bahman (Nahid) Mobed; and the

17uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Jehangir "John" Mobed, and extend
our sincere condolences to
