SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Naydean Fields, who passed away on August 
431, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Naydean Fields was born in Little Rock, Arkansas 
6to Raymond and Merrol (Rockingham) Kneeland on April 10, 1933; 
7she was the fifth of eight children; and
  
 

  
8    WHEREAS, Naydean Fields was preceded in death by her 
9father, Raymond Kneeland; her mother, Merrol (Rockingham) 
10Pitts; her brothers, Shelley Kneeland Sr., Hornsby Kneeland, 
11George "G.L." Kneeland, Samuel Kneeland, and Earl "Pat" Pitts; 
12her daughter, Bridgette Howard; and her great-grandson, Justus 
13Howell; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Naydean Fields is survived by her husband, Willard 
15Fields; her  daughter, Regina (Michael) Fields-Herring; her 
16sister, Dorothy Lundy; her  brothers, Wilerma (Lola) and Odie 
17Kneeland; her sister-in-law, Rhonda (Ronnie) Huley; her  
18grandsons, Shikieth Howard, Ashley Howard, Darnell Fields, and 
19Mark Fields; five great-grandchildren; one 
20great-great-grandchild; close family friends, Paulette 
21McKinnis and Patti Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, 
22cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Naydean Fields and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Naydean Fields as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
