SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jeremiah Stephen Adams of Fox Valley, who 
4passed away on May 4, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeremiah Adams was born to Stephen and Christine 
6(Gibson) Adams on March 17, 1994; growing up, he was involved 
7in theater, both through school and an outside company, and in 
8the choir; he graduated from Oswego East High School in Aurora 
9in 2013; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Following graduation, Jeremiah Adams enlisted in 
11the United States Navy; he trained in Charleston, South 
12Carolina; in May 2015, he reported to the aircraft carrier USS 
13Nimitz, based in Bremerton, Washington; he was a nuclear 
14electrician's mate second class; after his time in the Navy, he 
15hoped to go to college or get a job abroad; and
  
 
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jeremiah Adams enjoyed hiking; he loved his 
17friends and was always willing to listen when they needed to 
18talk; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Jeremiah Adams is survived by his parents; his 
20siblings, Matthew, Michael, Joshua, and Rebekah; his

1grandparents, Ray and Judith Adams and Roy and Sandra Gibson; 
2and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Jeremiah Stephen Adams and extend our sincere condolences to 
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Jeremiah Adams as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
