SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rudolph I. "Rudy" Mrazek of Staunton, who 
4passed away on August 19, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rudy Mrazek was born in Evanston to Rudolph C. and 
6Jane (Adamek) Mrazek on April 14, 1958; he married Kathy Spears 
7on May 29, 1998; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Rudy Mrazek worked as a Laborer with Local #379 of 
9Edwardsville for many years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Rudy Mrazek was a member of the Staunton Masonic 
11Lodge #177 AF & AM, as well as a member of the Shriners 
12International; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rudy Mrazek was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his son, John Rosenthal; and his brother, Karl Mrazek; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Rudy Mrazek is survived by his wife, Kathy; his 
16sons, Mike Mrazek and Josh (Elizabeth) Rosenthal; his 
17daughters, Jennifer (Gus Viehweg) Mrazek and Jennifer (Shane) 
18Kessinger; his grandchildren, Nova, Nathan, Adam, Lucas, 
19Lauren, Aubrey, Kasen, and Mackenzie; his sister, Jane 
20Flanders; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Rudolph I. "Rudy" Mrazek and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Rudy Mrazek as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
