| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edward E. "Ed" Sadlowski, who passed away |
| 4 | | on June 10, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was born in Chicago to Edward and |
| 6 | | Mildred (Sanders) Sadlowski on September 10, 1938; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was a union activist and represented |
| 8 | | thousands of steelworkers in Chicago and Gary, Indiana; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 10 | | and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski is survived by his wife, Marlene; his |
| 12 | | children, Susan Garza, Patricia Hoyt, Edward Sadlowski Jr., and |
| 13 | | Diane Agelson; his grandchildren, David Garza, Ryan Garza, Kate |
| 14 | | Garza, Tyler Garza, Deanna Hoyt, Adrianne Hoyt, Faith |
| 15 | | Sadlowski, Evelyn Sadlowski, Ed Sadlowski II, Angela Agelson, |
| 16 | | and Hallee Agelson; and his great-grandchildren, Aria and Sofia |
