SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Richard A. Gustafson of Silvis, who 
4passed away on June 23, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Gustafson was born in Moline to Arvid and 
6Erna Gustafson on August 14, 1939; he served in the United 
7States Army from 1957 until 1960; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Gustafson worked as a roofer; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Gustafson enjoyed fishing, going to the 
10casinos, traveling, and spending time with family; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Richard Gustafson was preceded in death by his 
12parents and his great-granddaughter, Isabella Starofsky; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Gustafson is survived by his children, 
14Theodore A. Gustafson, Thomas (Jill) Gustafson, Tim Gustafson, 
15and Todd Gustafson; his 13 grandchildren; his ten 
16great-grandchildren; his brother, Rodney Gustafson; and his 
17sister, Linda Czupka; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Richard A. Gustafson and extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
