SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Larry D. Frohling of Union, who passed 
4away on May 27, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Frohling as born in Belvidere to Albert and 
6Elvera (Meinke) Frohling on July 7, 1950; he graduated from 
7Marengo Community High School in 1968, where he was a proud 
8four-year member of the football team and a member of the FFA; 
9he married Mary Rasmusen in Union on March 1, 1975; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Larry Frohling was a lifelong farmer; later in 
11life, he served as a Seneca Township Trustee for 15 years and a 
12FSA board member for nine years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Larry Frohling loved his family, farming, history 
14books, and westerns; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Larry Frohling was preceded in death by his 
16parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Larry Frohling is survived by his wife, Mary; his 
18children, Steve (Kristi) Frohling, Laurie (Rob) Jasinski, 
19Melisa (Brian) Sherwin, Dan (Emily) Frohling, and James (Mary) 
20Frohling; his grandchildren, Ryan and Jesse Brown, Allison,

1Rachael, and Courtney Jasinski, Vivian Sherwin,  Haley Cullen, 
2and Stephen, Seleste, Sheridan, and Sierra Frohling; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Larry D. Frohling and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Larry Frohling as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
