SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Juan J. Bucio, who passed away on May 28, 
42018 in the line of duty; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Juan Bucio was born on January 25, 1972; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Juan Bucio joined the Chicago Fire Department on 
7October 1, 2003 and became a member of the dive team in 2007; 
8he has been a member of Chicago Fire
Fighters Union, Local 2 
9since March 12, 2004; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Juan Bucio was serving with Air Sea Rescue when he 
11was fatally injured during a water rescue; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Juan Bucio is survived by his children, Joshua, 
13age 10 and Jacob, age 9; and his nine siblings; therefore, be 
14it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Juan J. Bucio, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
