SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Francisco "Frank" Diaz of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on May 2, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Diaz was born in Houston, Texas to Jose 
6Andres Diaz and Espitacion Ramirez on September 2, 1937; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Frank Diaz was a jack of all trades who enjoyed 
8working in his garage; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Frank Diaz enjoyed playing his guitar and 
10listening to country western and Tex-Mex music; he had a great 
11appreciation for animals, including the birds in his backyard; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Frank Diaz was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his grandparents, Antonio Ramirez and Porfiria Fuentes; his 
15sons, Frank and Joseph; and his siblings, Juan Villalobos, 
16Valentina Farias, Phillip Berrospe, Angel Corona, Mary Corona, 
17Frances Solis, and Andrew Diaz; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Diaz is survived by his wife of 28 years, 
19Adella; his children, James, Daniel, Russell, Mark Anthony, and 
20Rose Ray; his five grandchildren; his many

1great-grandchildren; his sister, Isabel Granger; and his 
2beloved nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Francisco "Frank" Diaz and extend our sincere condolences to 
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Frank Diaz as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
