| 3 | | learn of the death of Arthur "Boody" Young Sr. of Decatur, who |
| 4 | | passed away on April 18, 2018; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Young was born in Michigan City, |
| 6 | | Mississippi to Ike and Ola (Hunt)
Young on April 24, 1925; he |
| 7 | | later moved to Brownsville, Tennessee and then to Decatur; he |
| 8 | | married Lucille Walker on August 24, 1944; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Young worked at the Wagner Casting Company |
| 10 | | for over 25 years; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, After his retirement, Arthur Young enjoyed
being a |
| 12 | | handyman around his home, as well as in the homes of others; he |
| 13 | | was a member of Community Temple Church of
God in Christ and |
| 14 | | then House of Miracles Pentecostal
Church; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Young was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 16 | | his wife of 65 years, Lucille; his daughter, Brenda Young;
his |
| 17 | | sons, Dennis and Freddie T. Young; his sisters, Melverta Bond |
| 18 | | and Lue Bertha
Hawkins; his brothers, Mack, Charlie, and Frank |
| 19 | | Young; his father-in-law, Nathan Walker; his mother-in-law, |
| 20 | | Fannie Walker; his sister-in-law, Francis
Young; and his |
| 21 | | brothers-in-law, John D. Pirtle, Eldridge Taylor, Bates Bond, |
