SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John "Johnny" Angelos, who passed away on 
4April 11, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Angelos was born to Frank John and Lucille 
6Julia (Welter) Angelos on November 28, 1950; he was raised in 
7Zion; he joined the United States Army and served at Fort 
8Leavenworth as a Military Police Officer; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Angelos retired from the Waukegan Police 
10Department after 30 years of service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, John Angelos enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing 
12cribbage, and spending time with his friends; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, John Angelos was preceded in death by his parents; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, John Angelos is survived by his daughters, Rachel 
16(Darrell) Wiatrowski and Kari (Tim) Knight; his grandchildren, 
17Rylan, Reece, Ava, and Elle; his sister, Judith (David) Larsen; 
18his brothers, Frank R. (Christine) Angelos and Thomas C. (Joy) 
19Angelos; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3John "Johnny" Angelos and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of John Angelos as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
